On 3 April 2020, the government announced the implementation of an elevated set of safe distancing measures as a circuit breaker to pre-empt the trend of increasing local transmission of COVID-19.

At Singapore Cancer Society (SCS), the health and safety of everyone is of paramount importance. We seek your kind understanding that all of our premises, including our main office at 15 Enggor Street, SCS Clinic @ Bishan, SCS Cancer Rehabillitation Centre, and our SCS Satellite Centres at National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) and National Cancer Centre Singapore will be closed during this period.

As the largest cancer advocacy and support organisation in Singapore, we understand that the cancer journey can be very difficult. Your health and well-being is our utmost concern and while our premises may be closed, we will still be doing our level best to extend our support to you.

Cancer Rehabilitation
Patients who require rehabilitation assistance will continue to be engaged through teleconsultation. We will also be sending out exercise brochures and resistance bands to patients for patients to engage in our home exercise programme.

Our social workers and counsellors are available to provide tele-counselling for those with issues arising from the impact of cancer. They can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Home Hospital Transport

Transportation for patients between their homes and hospitals for chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and other medical appointments will continue.

Home Tuition Programme

Home tuition for children and youth whose families have been impacted by cancer will be conducted virtually.

Hospice Home Care

Hospice care services will continue. Our medical team will continue to ensure that cancer patients receive the best care and support in their homes to maximise their quality of life for as long as possible.

Financial assistance

All applications for financial assistance will continue to be processed, with interviews being done over the phone and documents and payouts to be processed online.

Support Group

Support group activities are temporarily suspended in view of the ‘circuit breaker’ measures. Support group members will continue to be engaged through online talks and other suitable programmes.

Your health and well-being is important to us and we would like to extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. In the meantime:

  1. Stay at home as much as possible
  2. Avoid visiting others, even extended family, especially the elderly and vulnerable
  3. Go out only for essential things, for example, to buy food
  4. Seek medical attention immediately should you feel unwell.

Remember, you are not alone in the fight against cancer.

Singapore Cancer Society is here for you.
