Sudha SCS Staff Cancer Survivorr

Ms Sudha Muthukrishnan is a breast cancer survivor. At 62 years old she is involved in many activities such as pole dancing, dragon boating, Zumba dancing and many more. She was introduced to Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) when she joined the SCS Support Group. She felt so inspired that she decided to give back to the cancer community.

She said, “After nearly 25 years at my previous job I decided to do something to give back to the cancer society. I decided to be part of charity work. Since I was already a member in SCS Support Group it just felt right to join SCS as a staff.”

During her 4 years in SCS she realised that there are people out there that need help. She added, “There are many times I have shared my own experiences with some of the beneficiaries. It is most rewarding when I see a smile on their faces. I know for sure I have impacted them positively one way or another”.
