Fundraising Mechanics: Around 40 riding clubs with 200 to 300 riders will be coming together to ride from Tampines to Yishun on National Day to raise funds for SCS. Donations will be collected by each riding club. 100% of funds raised will be donated to SCS

Members and non-members of Pure Yoga can register at any Pure Yoga outlet for the charity yoga class. Fundraising Mechanics: In conjunction with SCS Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), Platinum Yoga will be raising funds for SCS. Platinum Yoga is an authentic yoga centre offering all levels and styles of Yoga in Singapore. SCS donation boxes will be placed at the following locations of Platinum Yoga – SUNTEC CITY MALL (3 Temasek Boulevard, #02-462, Suntec City Mall. Dr Sharon Low, a self-trained singer and General Practitioner of Universal Medical Clinic, has recorded a music CD ‘Love, for Life’. Patients who make a donation of at least $10 to Singapore Cancer Society at Universal Medical Clinic, will be given the music CD. Fundraising Mechanics: YFC is a community initiative started by Citi and the YMCA of Singapore in 2003 to promote social entrepreneurship and community leadership development among Singapore youth. This year, two teams, Team Aliferous (Dunman High School) and Team CElebrators (NUS Business School) have adopted SCS as their beneficiary and will be raising cancer awareness & funds to help drive SCS programmes and services to minimise cancer and maximise life.
Team CElebrators: Sale of Teddy Bears, Socks and T-shirts at NUS Freshmen Orientation and street locations islandwide. The team also joined SCS at the WGCAM 2017 Awareness Talk and Piloxing Workout Session held on 8 July 2017 at Our Tampines Hub and at the Singtel-SCS Race Against Cancer 2017 event held on 30 July 2017 at East Coast Park, Angsana Green.
Team Aliferous: Sale of merchandise (pens handphone covers, handphone rings, wire cable protectors, bandanas) at street locations islandwide around Singapore and in Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer. The team also joined SCS at the WGCAM 2017 Awareness Talk and Piloxing Workout Session held on 8 July 2017 at Our Tampines Hub and at the Singtel-SCS Race Against Cancer 2017 event held on 30 July 2017 at East Coast Park, Angsana Green.

Programme Name: Dr William Tan London to Paris 500KM Cycling Challenge 2017

Fundraising Mechanics:Fundraising via, a page set up by The London Speaker Bureau Pte Ltd ( ) and donations pledged via The London Speaker Bureau Pte. Ltd. SCS is one of the three beneficiaries. All donations sourced in Singapore will be channeled to SCS. Dr William Tan contracted polio at the age of two and is paralysed from the waist down. Notwithstanding his disability, Dr Tan is an accomplished sportsman.


Programme Name: Garena Young Lions (GYL) Adoption of SCS

Fundraising Mechanics: 50% of ticket sales (gross proceeds) from 12 S.League 2017 Home Matches played by GYL at the Jalan Besar Stadium will be donated to SCS. GYL will also provide SCS with a dedicated booth during the home matches played by GYL at the venue and complimentary tickets for SCS beneficiaries to attend their matches during the 2017 season. SCS hopes to reach out to the young players, their fans and spectators to be our advocates and further spread the awareness of cancer.
