Life in Lavender seeks to support the community with timely information, items, and services at various key points in the cancer journey. It is a travelling exhibit that will be set up at different locations throughout the year.
The Gift of Light is a cancer awareness care pack that targets the early milestones of cancer screening and prevention.
In tandem with the Healthier SG initiative, the Gift of Light cancer awareness care pack is launched to bolster the nation’s effort on healthy living and preventive care, to support members of the public and primary care providers. It highlights the importance of taking control of of cancer. This gift pack provides valuable information about three cancers with high incidence and mortality rates in Singapore—breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer. Through myths and facts, quizzes and checklists, you can find out about nationally recommended screenings and go for your cancer screenings.
The Gift of Light is also a referral and navigational tool to support doctors and their medical team to help you take control of your cancer prevention journey.
Through collaboration with the 3 Regional Health System clusters, the implementation of Gift of Light also sims to provide holistic, seamless and integrative cancer care for you. We are honoured to partner with Primary Care Networks, GP clinics and SCS Clinic @ Bishan to help you actualize your screenings through the Gift of Light.
