Manager, Corporate Affairs

Job Description

Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will spearhead and lead corporate communications, working with key internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the Society's branding in the sector. You will conceptualise and develop the annual communications plan, taking the lead in developing and maintaining media relationships. Additionally, you will manage and expand the social media channels across the digital media platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop the Society's communications plan
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the media
  • Take the lead and manage press releases, feature stories, press conferences etc.
  • Manage the Society’s website and content
  • Oversee the Society’s publication of the annual report
  • Manage a small team of employees

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mass Communications or any other discipline in the related field Min 10 years in PR, Marketing Communications, A & P, Corporate Branding
