Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) launched the SCS HPV Education and Immunisation Programme as part of its dedicated 3-year plan to tackle cervical cancer in Singapore.

SCS will be intensifying efforts by conducting a series of talks in schools targeted at secondary school girls so as to increase awareness of cervical cancer and highlight the importance of taking the HPV vaccination. Cervical cancer is one of the top cancers affecting women, and is also one of the most preventable types of cancer. With the implementation of the structured outreach programme, SCS will continue to be one of the leading charities in the fight for a cancer-free society.
