Albert Ching

Mr Albert Ching has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) since September 2012. He led the Society in setting up the SCS Multi-Service Centre at Bishan in 2013 to be close to the heartlands; and the SCS Cancer Rehabilitation Centre, Singapore’s first one-stop community-based cancer rehabilitative services (opened at Jem in September 2015). He played a pivotal role in leading the Society to establish new partnerships to better serve the cancer community at large across key areas of cancer upstream prevention and screening, community care and patient support, rehabilitation and cancer survivorship. Under his leadership SCS also clinched the coveted Charity Transparency Award 2019. Before joining SCS, he was the Executive Director and General Secretary of the YMCA of Singapore for over 7 years, and was elected as President in 2019. Prior to YMCA, he served as Executive Director at The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore.

Geraldyn Lim

Ms Geraldyn Lim has been the Chief Operating Officer of the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) since 1 February 2021. She helms the Community Engagement pillar, focusing on mobilising community resources of funds, friends, networks and mindshare, and rallying community participation towards supporting the cancer cause. Her foray into the social services professionally started in 2014 when she was the Chief Operating Officer of the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre. Thereafter, she joined Montfort Care, a multi-service social service agency, helming its corporate development and governance. Prior to joining the social service sector, she spent 16 years in the public service involved in international trade negotiations, diplomacy and economic development with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). She has been an active volunteer in various charities including being the Board Member of Beautiful People, a Programme Committee Member of BABES and a long-time volunteer befriender at Lions Befriender.

Tay Kuan Ming

Mr Tay Kuan Ming has been the Director of Corporate Services with the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) since 1 February 2017, overseeing the operations and administration of the Society as well as regulatory aspects including governance and reporting. Before joining SCS, he was in business processes consultancy, focused on helping clients across various industries in streamlining business operations and reporting systems. A qualified accountant, his work experience has taken him across a wide range of industries and countries across South East Asia, with over 30 years of professional work experience covering audit, finance and management portfolios in multi-national companies. Kuan Ming was the Chief Financial Officer of Carrier UTC, Coca-Cola and Pacific Internet for 12 years prior to joining SCS.
