57th Annual General Meeting

Notice of the 57th Singapore Cancer Society Annual General Meeting

The 57th Annual General Meeting of the Singapore Cancer Society will be held at the office of the SCS Cancer Rehabilitation Centre,
and virtually via Zoom video conferencing on Wednesday, 27th April 2022.

Members have the option of attending the Annual General Meeting in person or via Zoom video conferencing.

Members who will be attending the Annual General Meeting via Zoom video conferencing will need to register their vote for each of the agenda items via proxy, as electronic voting is not specifically provided for as a means of voting under the SCS constitution. SCS Chairman, Mr Wee Leong How, will be the default proxy to vote on your behalf. Do note, as there is limited capacity due to the safe distancing measures at the venue of the AGM, registration will close once we have reached the maximum number of participants.   

QUESTIONS RECEIVED     

Important Notes:            

  1. An SCS member may submit questions to SCS via post or email using the question form in the Notice package mailed to you. The questions must reach the charity at least 7 days prior to the Annual General Meeting;
     
  2. All substantial and relevant questions will be addressed by the Council and/or management prior to, or at, the Annual General Meeting. Questions that concern a matter that will be put to a vote will be addressed by the Council and/or management before the closing date for the lodgement of proxy forms. Such questions will be addressed via the SCS website or at the upcoming hybrid Annual General Meeting;

  3. The instrument appointing a proxy must be e-mailed to scs_membership@singaporecancersociety.org.sg or physically mailed to the Society’s registered office at 48 Pandan Road, L4M, PTC Logistics Hub, Singapore 609289 and received no less than 48 hours before the time appointed for holding the Annual General Meeting.
