  Cancer Can be Prevented!
World Cancer Day, 4 February 2012

Join Singapore Cancer Society as we celebrate World Cancer Day 2012 on 4 February. The lilac ribbon was chosen for World Cancer Day as it represents all cancers and general cancer awareness. Cancer can be prevented through leading a healthy lifestyle and avoiding risk factors such as tobacco and alcohol use, excessive intake of salt, and exposure to sunlight and pollutants.

Regular cancer screening and early detection offer better chances of a cure.

Let us unite as one to fight against cancer!
