Sale of Chinese New Year Handicraft

Prices from $8 to $28. Other designs available and whilst stocks last. Proceeds will go to the Ostomy Club, a support group for ostomates.

Cancer Warriors: Tales of Courage and Hope

Inspired by her late sister Sally Thng who battled against colorectal cancer, former LIME magazine editor Stella Thng, published a book entitled ‘Cancer Warriors: Tales of Courage and Hope’.

This book’s compilation of 23 heart-baring stories that will give you a glimpse and an understanding into the lives of the cancer warriors – the hope, the courage and the constant fight to survive. Local actress Koh Chieng Mun, “Singapore’s Terry Fox” Derek Lauchengco, 5-year old Filmer Tan and 20 other warriors share their stories.

From the Heart

Jeannie Woo narrates her story in a self-published book entitled ‘From the Heart’. She relates more than half a century of her experiences in the teaching profession and also other significant periods in her journey through life. Jeannie shares her encounters that are deeply etched in her memory and her heart for those who appreciate the simple ways of life.
