Parkway Cancer Centre has launched Awakening the Appetite – a recipe book specially tailored to the Asian palate for cancer patients and their loved ones.
Not just your ordinary cookbook, Awakening the Appetite includes recipes specially created by 8 renowned chefs in Singapore and detailed advice from nutritionists to boost the confidence of the readers to prepare the meals.
The book also contains practical health information and tips such as the dos and don’ts to consider when planning meals for cancer patients. The recipes are easy to prepare and meant to inspire cancer patients to regain their interest in food during and after medical treatment.
