Singapore Cancer Society( SCS)

• Establish in 1964 by individual from Rotary Club of Singapore, the Lions Club and Jaycees.
• Inauguration by Mr Yong Nyuk Lin, the then Minister of Health.
• Self-funding voluntary welfare organization.
• Temporary office was setup at at the Cancer Information Centre, Dept of Pathology, Singapore General Hospital in 1967.
• In 1975, the premise was moved to Peace Centre and continued to operate until 1980 where the Society relocated its premises to present place, Realty Centre.
