Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) is a self-funded voluntary health organization dependent on gifts and donations from corporates and individual donors to fund our programmes and services. The Society provides financial assistance to needy cancer-stricken families, rehabilitation support for cancer patients, and home medical care for terminally-ill cancer patients.
Cancer is the number one killer disease in Singapore and 1 in 4 Singaporeans will die of cancer. The fight against cancer and in saving lives through early detection of cancer is an on-going one that requires long-term commitment with sustainable funding. The Direct Debit Donor Programme (DDDP) is designed to encourage individuals to make donations to the SCS on a regular basis to ensure a constant stream of funding to sustain our efforts in cancer prevention and control.
