Women's Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Campaign 2014

Women are stronger than we think. They are also more vulnerable than they know. Gynaecological cancers originate from a woman’s reproductive organs. Today, they have become a serious concern. Help every woman fight the cancer of the womb, ovaries, and cervix. Encourage the women in our lives to find out more about the risks, symptoms, prevention and treatment methods of the most prevalent gynaecological cancers and to get screened. Free Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT)

Colorectal cancer is the number 1 cancer in Singapore, especially among those aged 50 and above. Screening for colorectal cancer should begin from the age of 50 for those with no symptoms. The FIT (Faecal Immunochemical Test) checks your stool for blood that cannot be seen by the naked eye to detect signs of cancer. If you are a Singaporean or a Permanent Resident above the age of 50 and have not gone for colorectal screening in the past year, you may collect a free FIT kit from SCS and our partner distribution locations. For enquiries, please contact us at 6499 9133 (Mon - Fri: 8.30am to 6.00pm), cancerscreening@singaporecancersociety.org.sg
